(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Today the E.P.A. announced it will "relax" air pollution rules to allow coal-burning power plants to emit more pollution.
Senator Murray released the following statement:
"This most recent effort to roll back our clean air laws is deeply disappointing. Since this administration took over, there has been a systematic effort to dismantle our nation's environmental laws. It is sad to see that, once again, the air that we all breathe is taking a back seat to polluters and special interests who seem to wield such influence in this administration."
