Murray made the following statement after the World Trade Organization’s final
Appellate Body ruling on illegal subsidies for Airbus.
“This final ruling reinforces what I have
said all along: Boeing and its workers have been competing on an uneven playing
field, and it needs to end. The delay tactics and misinformation from the
Europeans over the years could not mask the fact that launch aid and
other illegal subsidies distorted the market and harmed our workers. It is now time for them to immediately
comply with their legal obligations and end their subsidies.”
